  •  All players get equal amount of playing time during the regular season.

  • Treat all players, as they are all equal.

  • Smoking and/or chewing tobacco is prohibited anywhere around the ball diamond while coaching.

  • The use of profanity or obscene jesters is prohibited.

  • Players need a coach that they can respect. Be generous with praise when deserved and set a good example.

  • Any disagreements with other coaches should be brought to the attention of your commissioner.

  • Be as prompt as possible, it looks better if the coach is waiting for players and it shows interest.

  • Develop team respect for the ability of the opponents, as well as for the judgment of officials and opposing coaches.

  • Umpires are hard to come by and usually young. Set a good example, give them a break. Any problems that persist should be brought to the attention of the umpire coordinator.

  • If any coach is ejected from a game he or she will be suspended for the following game. If a coach is ejected from 2 games or more then the TVSL board can remove him or her from coaching.
